Contexts help Vaizle understand the business behind your data. You can save a website, a specific webpage or instructions about how you want an analysis presented. The Contexts page also includes spreadsheet resources and destinations used for reports.
Save a Context once, then choose the Chats or Agents that need it. A saved Context is available for reuse; you still need to select it for the conversation or workflow where you want to use it.
How Accounts and Contexts work together?
- Accounts connect your marketing data, such as an ad account, analytics property, social page or Shopify store.
- Contexts provide supporting information and resources. For example, a Google Ads account provides campaign data, while a website Context helps explain your products and positioning. You can use both in the same Chat.
For account connections, see How to Add and Manage Accounts in Vaizle AI.
Choose the right Context
Choose a resource that matches the task you want Vaizle to help with:
- Self Website: Use your brand’s website for background about your business, products and services.
- Self Webpage: Use a specific page when your question concerns a product, offer or landing page.
- Competitor Website: Add a competitor’s website for background about its business and positioning.
- Competitor Webpage: Add a particular competitor page for a focused comparison.
- Guidance: Save clear instructions about your business priorities or how you want answers presented.
For example, a landing-page review could use your Self Webpage and one relevant Competitor Webpage. A broader business review could use your Self Website.
Competitor advertising sources are added through Accounts. Use the competitor Context types for website and webpage information.
Add a website or webpage
Open your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and select Contexts.
Choose + Add Self Website, + Add Self Webpage, + Add Competitor Website or + Add Competitor Webpage. Use Self for your own brand and Competitor for another brand.
Enter the website or webpage address in URL.
Select Save.
Check the URL before adding it. Use the specific page address when your question is about a particular product or offer.
You can check processing progress and saved results for websites, webpages and Guidance in Context Activity. Processing continues if you close the activity popup, so you can return to it later.
Review the saved information
Select a saved website card to open its details. You will see three parts:
- URL: The website address associated with the resource.
- Summary: A read-only description that helps Vaizle decide when the Context is relevant.
- Details: Fuller information, including key facts and sources, that Vaizle can read when it needs more background.
Review the Summary and Details for information that could affect your analysis, such as your main products, audience or current offer. You can edit Details to keep that information useful and accurate, then select Save. The Summary cannot be edited.
The URL of a saved website Context cannot be edited. To use a different URL, add it as a new Context and select the correct resource in the Chats or Agents that need it.
Add reusable Guidance
Use Guidance for instructions you want to reuse, such as “Focus on lead quality when recommending next steps” or “Explain technical terms in plain English.”
- Open Contexts from your profile menu.
- Select + Add Guidance.
- Enter your instructions in Guidance. Keep each instruction clear and specific.
- Select Save.
- Select the saved Guidance in the Chats where you want to use it.
Use a Context in a Chat
- Open the Chat where you want to use the resource.
- Select Context in the message composer.
- Use the circular selection control on each resource card to choose the Contexts relevant to that conversation.
- Check the selected count in Chat Context, then close the panel using the X in the top-right corner.
Ask your question in the Chat.
For example, select the Context for your landing page alongside the appropriate advertising account, then ask:
“Review this landing page alongside the campaign results for the last complete week. Suggest three improvements and explain the evidence behind each one.”
The Context panel shows selected resources separately from the total available. If you work with several brands, check that your selection belongs to the brand you are discussing.
Use a Context when setting up an Agent
An Agent template describes the resources its workflow needs. During Configure Agent, choose the saved resource that matches each requirement.
For example, a template may ask for your website, a spreadsheet and an email destination. Select the appropriate resource for each one and check which requirements are required or optional.
Use the optional Agent guidance field for instructions that apply to that Agent, such as the audience for its report.
Use spreadsheets and email destinations
The Contexts page also includes Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel resources. When an Agent requires a spreadsheet, check that you select the intended file and any tabs the setup asks for.
Email Contexts provide destinations for reports. Email destinations must be verified before use. If an email card shows Verification required, complete verification before choosing it for a report.
If a Context is missing from your analysis
Check that the resource is saved in Contexts and selected in the relevant Chat or Agent. If it is still processing, review Context Activity. An empty activity view does not mean your saved Contexts have been removed; check the main Contexts page for your resources.
