CapCut Now Lets You Post Directly to LinkedIn

You already post Reels from Meta Edits. Now CapCut lets you post to LinkedIn too. It’s fast, and LinkedIn says the label won’t hurt reach.

Capcut had been a leading video editing application for years. But due to data privacy concerns, it was banned in India and also removed from app stores in US in early 2025.

As expected, Meta jumped on the bandwagon & went ahead with their own CapCut alternative, Edits. It came with its own advantage of letting users publish Reels directly from Edits only.

Now, CapCut is bringing the same ease of posting to LinkedIn. (In case you didn’t know, CapCut already let you directly post to TikTok.)

As spotted by creator-economy expert Lindsey Gamble, there’s a new LinkedIn button in CapCut’s composer. That means you can publish to LinkedIn in just two taps, without downloading or switching apps.

LinkedIn confirmed the integration and noted that while some posts may include a “Made with CapCut” label, it will not affect visibility or feed ranking. Broadly speaking, this move is part of LinkedIn’s strategy to make the platform more video-friendly for the users.

That’s because, for creators, founders, and social teams, this update removes a small but significant friction. Instead of managing files across tools, your video can go live in just a couple of taps.

That means more consistency, faster publishing, and better chances of catching momentum while the idea is still fresh.

The update also reflects a broader shift: video editing tools are becoming distribution tools. Meta’s Edits already blurred the line by helping users go from clip to Reels without leaving the app. Now CapCut is doing the same for LinkedIn—making it easier for brands and B2B creators to show up consistently on a platform that increasingly rewards native video content.

To try it, users just need to update CapCut to the latest version. After editing, they’ll see LinkedIn listed as a new publishing destination. From there, it works like any other social post: add your caption, adjust your audience settings, and publish.

For now, the integration appears focused on feed videos, not Stories or carousels. But, it’s a clear sign that CapCut is doubling down on making publishing as fast as editing.
