Hi
Earlier this week I opened one of our test accounts and the targeting panel looked different.
A few interests had merged, my old exclusions were gone, and it felt like the rules changed mid-game. I know many of you have seen the same screen and had the same “okay, now what” moment. 😅
Here is the good part. You can still run steady, profitable campaigns. If you reach a broader audience, send clean signals, and refresh ads a little faster, results hold up.
In this newsletter, I will explain what is changing, why Meta is doing it, and what you can try this week.
We will also use Vaizle's AI agent quietly in the background. If you do not know it yet, keep reading. You will see it in action and decide for yourself.
🗞️ In today’s Marketing Scoop, we’re covering: ✦ Meta’s targeting changes in simple terms ✦ A 10-minute Meta audit you can run today with Vaizle AI ✦ A performance case you can copy this week ✦ Quick news for media buyers and what to do now ✦ Three helpful reads from the Vaizle blog |

🤐 Meta is getting rid of detailed targeting
Here is the simple version.
Many interest options are being merged into broader groups, and detailed targeting exclusions are no longer available.
New setups guide you toward a wider audience so the system can learn from your results instead of a long list of interests.
Why this matters: You can still run steady campaigns if two things are clean — your conversion signals and your creative. Think wider reach, clear events, and small, regular tests. |
What still works:
• Basic filters like location, age, and gender • Custom Audiences and Lookalikes for reach without guesswork • Excluding buyers with Custom Audience exclusions • Clean tracking with pixel and CAPI so your events are accurate

✅ A performance case you can copy this week
Over the last few months, I have seen a simple routine work better than interest stacks.
Start broad, keep your events clean, and refresh ads in small, regular steps. The goal is not a perfect ad. The goal is steady improvement by Friday.
The routine:
• Pick one offer and one product. Keep the landing page unchanged for the week. • Run one broad prospecting ad set and one warm retargeting ad set. • Launch two new ads: one UGC style and one product in use. Cap production time at 30 minutes each. • Check results daily on CTR (link), add-to-cart rate, CPA, and ROAS. Do not touch winners mid-week unless there is a clear problem.
Friday decisions:
• Move 15% budget from clear underperformers to your best ad set. • Keep any ad that improves CPA or ROAS by 10–15%. Pause the rest. • Spin one small variation of your winner for next week (new hook, first line, or opening 3 seconds).
If you want help choosing what to update first, ask Vaizle AI to flag the ad sets and ads with high spend and weak ROAS or CPA. Then create two quick variations yourself and review on Friday.

😍 What's going on in the world of AI and marketing?
When I am not running Meta Ads, I am probably exploring platform updates and marketing news. Here are some top snippets you should know of:
• Remember Facebook back from early 2000s? If yes, you must remember the legendary "Poke" as well. Guess what? Facebook is now bringing the Pokes back as their mainstream feature. Read more
• OpenAI is building an AI-powered competitor for LinkedIn. Check out the progress and when you can expect it to go live.
• AI companionship apps are the new trend. But are they feasible in long run? Find out why the popular AI friend app had to shut down.
• LinkedIn might just be more interested in video content now. That's why they have partnered up with Capcut.
