Hi

Meta is on track to make more money from ads than Google. First time in history.

Not by a little. $243 billion vs $239 billion. And Meta is still accelerating while Google’s ad growth looks much steadier.

I don’t know about you, but that number made me stop scrolling. Because this isn’t just a fun stat to share at a marketing meetup. If you run Meta Ads, even with a small budget, you’re now advertising on a platform that could become the biggest digital ads business in the world.

And if you run Google Ads too, this shift is worth paying attention to.

So this month’s edition is all about making sense of that shift. What it means for your campaigns, your strategy, and where things are heading.

Let’s get into it. ⬇️

🗞️ In today’s Marketing Scoop, we’re covering:

✦ A quick account check for this month
✦ 3 checks before you touch your campaigns
✦ My top reads from the Vaizle blog
✦ What’s going on in ads, AI, and social media?
✦ Coming soon: Google Ads + Shopify in Vaizle AI

✅ A quick account check for this month

Instead of treating this like a Meta vs Google debate, I’d look at it from a campaign level.

If more ad spend is moving into AI-led systems, your biggest advantage is not manual control anymore.  It is signal quality.

So before you scale, pause, or rebuild anything this month, check these three things:

• Is your tracking clean enough?
If Meta, Google, and Shopify are all telling different stories, don’t pick the number you like most. Check attribution windows, delayed purchases, duplicate events, and revenue mismatch first.

• Are your creatives giving the platform enough direction?
AI-led campaigns still need strong inputs. If every ad is saying the same thing in a slightly different layout, the platform does not have much to learn from.

• Are you reacting too early?
A bad day is not always a bad campaign. Sometimes it is attribution lag, budget movement, or the algorithm adjusting after a change.

Basically: the platforms are getting smarter. But your inputs still decide how smart they can be.

➡️  3 checks before you touch your campaigns

A tiny performance-marketing section. Not a full audit. Just three things to check before making changes.

For this month:

• Did ROAS drop, or did purchases just take longer to show up?
• Did CPA rise across all campaigns, or only where budget changed?
• Did creative performance fall, or did frequency quietly creep up?

Small checks. Big difference. Because half of performance marketing is knowing when not to panic.

BTW: You could do all of these with just a question with Vaizle AI 😊

👇 My top reads from the Vaizle blog

▶ Why Facebook Ads and Shopify Show Different Sales Numbers?

If Meta ROAS and Shopify revenue never match, this one will help you understand what’s actually going on before you blame the campaign.

▶ How to Set Up Facebook Ads: Step-by-Step Guide

Good one to share with someone on your team who is still getting comfortable with Meta Ads Manager. Beginner-friendly, but still useful for cleaning up the basics.

▶ How to Find Wasted Spend in Meta Ads

This is probably the most relevant one for performance teams. It breaks down how spend leaks into tired creatives, wrong placements, weak tracking, or low-quality audience pockets.

▶ Why Is Meta Spending Your Budget But Not Converting?

For those days when clicks are coming in, budget is moving, but purchases are nowhere to be found. A good diagnostic read before pausing campaigns too quickly.

😍 What’s going on in ads, AI, and social media?

• Shopify now lets merchants connect their stores to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Here’s the update.

• Meta Ads can now connect to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. For advertisers, this is a big signal. Campaign analysis is slowly moving from dashboards to chat-style workflows. Catch up here.

• YouTube now lets users set their Shorts feed limit to zero minutes. Imagine telling short-form video, “not today.” Honestly, kind of peaceful. Check the details.

• Meta launched an AI-enhanced Pixel and easier Conversions API setup.
Good signal for advertisers who want better tracking without involving three developers and a prayer. Full breakdown.

⚡ Coming soon: Google Ads + Shopify in Vaizle AI

Vaizle AI already helps you analyze Meta Ads by asking questions in plain English. But performance marketing doesn’t stop at Meta.

You also need Google Ads data. Shopify sales data. And one clear answer when all platforms are telling different stories.

That’s what we’re building toward. Google Ads and Shopify integrations are planned to start rolling out this month.

So instead of switching between Ads Manager, Google Ads, Shopify, and spreadsheets, you’ll be able to ask Vaizle AI what’s happening across your marketing performance.

Meta Ads was step one. The bigger goal is simple: make Vaizle AI the marketing assistant performance teams open before making decisions. ✨
