Welcome to the first Marketing Scoop of 2026. 🎉

We're all back to our laptops, everyone's circling back, emails are piling up, and the stuff we postponed for new year is magically back on our table!?

But hey - new year, new vibes! ✨

2026 is already looking like one of those years where AI will move really fast and like always, marketers will be the first ones to adapt their workflows. I really like how 2025 reduced the gap between marketing & technical teams. More people were able to build things on their own (without writing a single line of code!)

So this year, I'm keeping one thing in mind: build more, overthink less. If 2025 taught us anything, it's that the barrier to making things isn't skill anymore. It's hesitation.

😍 What's going on in the Marketing & AI world?


• According to The Information, OpenAI might be planning to acquire Pinterest. This will help OpenAI expand & understand product searches better. (Definitely a plus point for their shopping tool!) 

• ChatGPT will sooner or later turn into an ad platform. Their beta code revealed it. Question is: when will it happen & to what extent? 

• Meta is working on two new models: Mango & Avocado. First one's focused on image & video generation & second one's for text generation.  

• Creators & business pages might soon be allowed to post external links on Instagram as a paid feature. Till now, Meta doesn't allow any third-party links on the app.

✅ 5 predictions for 2026 by Meta advertisers


I asked 5 Meta advertisers to share their marketing predictions with me! Here's what they said: 

First prediction: 

"I think creatives are going to matter a lot more than before. So you actually need to brainstorm and understand your audience better."

Second prediction: 

"Reporting is going to be a less of a headache. At least, I hope so. People will rely more on tools for such repetitive tasks."

Third prediction: 

"I think this is already happening but ads will feel more like "real content." Less salesy. So people would actually watch and not just scroll down." 

Fourth prediction: 

"Gradually your skills would be secondary. First thing that would matter is : how fast you can plan & execute stuff, and carry forward with the same momentum."

Fifth prediction: 

"For next year, I'd say, everyone will have data. That's not going to be specific advantage. Instead, it would be more about clarity. When you look at data, you immediately know what to fix." 

Being a core data nerd, I personally agree with the fifth one! That's where tools like Vaizle AI come into picture as well :)

❤️ 2026 resolutions to help you get better at marketing


You know what's best about first few days of January? Optimism. 

There's a weird sense of positivity & confidence, that makes you actually sit down & write resolutions. And here's the thing: if you stick to them for a couple of weeks, chances of following them for the remaining year increase substantially. 

Here are a few resolutions to try: 

• Consume good content. Follow people from your niche who are actually experimenting & sharing results. 

• Post something every week. If you also get stuck in feedback loops, try to give yourself a deadline. Ship something every week. It can be a LinkedIn post, an Instagram video, or anything you're trying to achieve. 

• Go through your saved content & bookmarks every week. Do you also keep bookmarking stuff & forgetting about it? Set a reminder to read it every week. 

Technically, these changes aren't really BIG. They don't require any extra investment or resource. It is just about bringing a small change in habit.
